Hellboy: The Companion

Hellboy: The Companion is a 2008 guidebook to the Hellboy series. The compendium is primarily written by Stephen Weiner, Jason Hall, and Victoria Blake, with additional material by series creator Mike Mignola and an introduction by Scott Allie.

Much of the book consists of character profiles and an official timeline of the body of work. Artwork by Mignola, Guy Davis, Ryan Sook, Duncan Fegredo, Jason Shawn Alexander, and Paul Azaceta illustrates the book; this is largely repurposed from comic panels.

The Companion was written prior to the release of The Wild Hunt.
