The Wolvertons is a non-canonical story published in Hellboy Junior #1. It was written by Bill Wray and drawn by Pat McEown.
Plot Synopsis
Brad Haverton is the son of an Alaskan lumberjack, Sven Wolverton, and a crash-landed alien, Harriet. He has a human head and an alien body. Due to his alien body he is unable to get a date. Therefore he decides to commit suicide. Just before jumping off a bridge he meets a blind Eskimo girl also there to commit suicide. She jumps into the water below and Brad smitten with her jumps after her and saves her. The two then fall in love and eventually marry.
The Eskimo girl eventually has a procedure done that restores her eyesight. Upon seeing her husband, Brad, she gouges out her eyeballs. The trauma gouging out her eyes was so great she looses her memories and after healing she and brad continue to live in marital bliss until a jilted lover of Brad's sister, Tiffany, murdered them all and then committed suicide after Tiffany left him.
