The Dark Below

The movie follows Hellboy as he falls into an ancient underground ruin and descends through a mysterious doorway into a subterranean cavern containing a lake that houses a dormant monster. Unlike the previous Hellboy animated features which featured Ron Perlman reprising his role from the live-action films, this short stars Zebulon Pike as the voice of Hellboy.

The film was released independently on various streaming services rather than as part of a larger anthology.
