Gorinium was the capitol of the Hyperborean empire and the most holy city of its people. Under the reign of its last great king Thoth, he found 3 Watchers. They told him all the secrets of the universe which Thoth wrote down in his 42 books giving only three to his people, not long after: a statue of Anum was made containing his right hand inside. The city remained the Hyperborean seat of power until Hecate came, seduced Thoth, killed the three watchers, and wrote their secrets with their blood on the walls of the royal palace.

After that, the citizens went to the palace and Hecate told them all of the watchers' knowledge and told them to do with it what they would. Some used it wisely while others did not. This would eventually create both orders of the right and left-hand path. Its last inhabitants were killed by Sadu-Hem who formed a new body from their blood.
