Eric Powell

Eric Powell is a comic book artist and writer best known for his creator owned comic The Goon published by Dark Horse Comics.

Powell contributed the Weird Tale Midnight Cowboy to the second issue of Weird Tales. Powell also illustrated a cover for Hellboy and the B.P.R.D: 1954 #1 that was featured in The Hellboy 100 Project.

The Goon #7 featured Hellboy entering the world of the Goon, with a framing sequence and cover by Mike Mignola. At the end of the story, an annoyed Hellboy remarks "we'll just pretend that didn't happen," implying it is not meant to be interpreted as canonical.
