Magical Mushroom Trip

Magical Mushroom Trip is a non-canonical story published in Hellboy Junior #1. It was written by Bill Wray and drawn by Dave Cooper.

Plot Synopsis

Hellboy is again lamenting having nothing to eat but maggots. He then makes a bargain with an imprisoned soul; Hellboy will use the soul's two gold front teeth to buy mushrooms if he shares the mushrooms with the soul. Once in possession of the mushrooms Hellboy quickly eats a large number and begins to trip. Hellboy first enjoys the trip but before long the trip goes bad upon returning to reality Hellboy realizes he has been tricked. While he was out of it the soul had started to cook him on a spit with the intention of eating Hellboy rather than the mushrooms. Hellboy is then rescued by another demon and the soul is awarded a nun to torture as reward for tricking a devil.
