Behemoth

The Behemoth is one of the antagonists in the Hellboy film](/entry/Hellboy_(2004_film)). It is possibly one of the 369 Ogdru Hem.
History
Ever since Grigori Rasputin became a servant of the Ogdru Jahad, the Behemoth started to grow inside the mystic. The being would keep preventing Rasputin from dying and every time he'd pass over, the creature would grow inside. Rasputin also referred to the Behemoth as "his God".
After Hellboy refused to bring the Ogdru Jahad onto the Earth and mortally stabbed Rasputin, the Behemoth emerges from the wound and grows into a gigantic tentacled monster. As Hellboy and John Myers manage to get Liz Sherman into safety, the half-demon returned to battle with the creature, killing it with a bandolier of Vulcan Grenades.
Appearance
The Behemoth is massive cephalopod-like entity, covered in eyes. It bears a resemblance to the film's portrayal of the Ogdru Jahad.
